National Indigenous Peoples Day

download123

Today, we recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day as an opportunity to honour and celebrate the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous People. This day also encourages us to learn more about Indigenous perspectives, traditions, and experiences, helping all students grow their understanding, respect, and appreciation for the diversity that strengthens our community. Importantly, it is a time to reflect on the impacts of the past, and to commit to building a future grounded in respect, inclusion, and reconciliation. By recognizing this day, we support meaningful learning, foster empathy, and help create a more inclusive and informed school community.

Thank You From Our School Council

Dear Loughborough Families,

As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our students, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners for your incredible support throughout the year.

Together, we have celebrated many successes, created memorable experiences for our students, and strengthened the sense of community that makes our school such a special place. Whether you attended events, volunteered your time, supported fundraising initiatives, or simply cheered us on, your contributions have made a meaningful difference.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated teachers and staff for their ongoing commitment to helping every student learn, grow, and thrive.

As summer begins, we wish all of our families a fun, relaxing, and safe break filled with laughter, adventure, and time spent with loved ones. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved summer and returns refreshed for another exciting school year.

We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces at our first School Advisory Council meeting of the year on September 15th. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage all parents and caregivers to join us as we continue working together to support student success. School Advisory Council elections will also take place during this meeting, and we encourage anyone interested in becoming involved to attend and consider joining our team.

Have a wonderful summer!

Your School Advisory Council
