Advance Absence Notification Program
According to the Safe Schools Protocol, all students at Loughborough Public School are a part of the Advance Absence Notification Program. In this plan, parents are expected to notify the school in advance if their child is ill and/or will not be attending school. If the school has not been notified of an absence, a school representative will notify the designated parent(s) so that the location of the child can be confirmed.

Leaving School Early & Arriving Late
To be excused from school, the student must present a dated, signed note from his/her parent/guardian explaining the reason for being excused. When a student is being picked up
during the day, the parent/guardian should inform the home room teacher and sign the student out at the office. Children are not to be picked up outside the school building at any time. These procedures are to be followed to protect the safety of our children.
When students arrive late, they must report to the office and pick up their advance absence card if it is available.
